BELIEVER"S Philippians 3:13

Brethren I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forth unto those things which are before.

Did you ever hear someone say that they arent all that they should be, but at least they arent where they used to be? No matter where you are in your walk with the Lord, you have to know that you have not arrived. Some people think that after they are saved, they can live and do whatever they want to do, but where would their faithfulness to God be then if they were sinning against Him? When a couple gets married and one person just keeps doing whatever they want to do, and they arent faithful to the other one, their marriage falls apart, doesnt it? You are Jesus bride the church, and once you get born again, you are one with Him. You are to remain faithful to Him just as He is faithful to you or you will have problems in your relationship with Him - you wont be right with Him.

As long as you are on this earth, you still have a lot of work to do. Yes, salvation is a gift that was given to you and all you had to do is receive it, but after you get saved, you have to keep moving on and walking by faith on a daily basis. You have to leave the past behind you and strive to do the things that God wants you to do - You cant use the excuse that you arent perfect as an excuse for sin though!

For the most part, you cant help what you see and hear. You can make sure that you stay away from all appearances of evil, but since you live in a fallen world, you will undoubtedly see and hear things that you really dont want to. When you are walking by faith, you arent supposed to walk by what you see or hear in the natural when its negative and it doesnt line up and agree with Gods Word. The deciding factor really is what you truly believe in your heart. You have to see things the way God sees them instead of with your natural eyes in order to walk by faith. Your spiritual eyes have to be stronger and see better than your natural eyes! My vision is blurred by grief; my eyes are worn out because of all my enemies. (Psalm 6:7) You cant let the devil blur your vision to the things of the Spirit!

You have to have knowledge of what all belongs to you in your inheritance that God your Father has for you and you have to know how to receive that inheritance and walk in it! I want them to have full confidence because they have complete understanding of Gods secret plan, which is Christ himself. In Him lie hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. (Colossians 2:2, 3)

Since Christianity is called the great confession, it is obvious that you, as a believer, have something to say. When you first got born again, you had to confess Jesus as your Lord to even get saved! He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say (declare) of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in Him will I trust. (Psalm 91:1, 2) Is the Lord your refuge? Are you living under His shadow where its safe and no plague can come near your dwelling? (verse10) If you are, are you using the Word of God by speaking that out and confessing it?

In Mark 11:23, God said that you can have what you say when you believe it in your heart. Charles Capps said that the Lord told Him that people are saying what they have, so they have what they say! Its not good to speak out what you are seeing with your physical eyes and what you feel in your body or your emotions if its negative. If you do, you have exactly what you are saying, because that is what you believe! The devils job is to steal, kill, and destroy you, (John 10:10) and if you are speaking out what he puts in your mind is wrong, you just gave the devil permission to do what you just said! He cant just put something on you, like an illness - he has to wait until he gets the o.k. from you through your words or actions, because he has no authority over you, as a child of God!

If you are a child of God, you are not under the curse of the law any more- you are redeemed from it! (Galatians 3:13) That means that since you arent a sinner any more, you dont have to pay for the penalty of sin. Jesus paid your penalty for your sins when He gave up His life for you. He took them from you, so you dont have them any more. The only way you can sin is if you arent living by the Holy Spirits power and you let your flesh have its way - you give in to temptation.

If you have trapped yourself by your agreement and are caught by what you said quick get out of it if you possibly can! You have placed yourself at your friends mercy. Now swallow your pride; go and beg to have your name erased. (Psalm 6:2) Whether you realize it or not, you are in agreement with someone. You are either in agreement with God by believing and speaking His Words of faith out, or you are in agreement with the devil and speaking the words out that he puts in your mind. An agreement is where there is a common consent between two people, and the matter is considered done! Again I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. (Matthew 18:19)

What you say is so important! The Bible says in Proverbs 18:21 that death and life is in the power of your tongue. You can speak death on yourself or someone else or you can speak life into yourself or someone else.

Yadah is the Hebrew word for confess. It comes from yad,, which means an open or extended hand. Just as a closed hand or a fist would represent rebellion or a struggle, an open hand indicates peace or surrender. Yadah also involves worship with open extended hands - confessing Gods faithfulness with thanksgiving, praise, and worship. In order to receive something by faith, you have to see it with your spiritual eyes, reach out into the future and grab hold of it, and dont let go! Believe you have it, speak it out and confess it, and before you know it, you will have what you say!

Use your faith and honor God with your words speak the Truth! The Gospel Truth!

Lord and Master

O Sovereign Lord, I am Your servant. . . . Is there any god in heaven or on earth who can perform such great deeds as Yours? (Deuteronomy 3:24)

Adonai (usually translated Lord or sometimes Sovereign) is the supreme Master over all authorities, and we belong to Him! Paul explained, You do not belong to yourself, for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body. (1 Corinthians 6:19, 20)

Adonai expects our total obedience (Luke 6:46) and deserves our respect and reverence. (Job 28:28) We are His slaves of righteousness. (Romans 6:29) Because we belong o Him, we can ask and trust Adonai to meet our every need.

King David expressed his trust in Adonai: Praise the Lord; praise God our savior! For each day he carries us in His arms. (Psalm 68:19)

Exalt Adonai because He is our sovereign Master who is worthy of highest honor and our total submission. The earth is the Lords, and everything in it. The world and its entire people belong to Him. (Psalm 24:1)

John 8:31, 32

31 Jesus said to the people who believed in Him, You are truly my disciples IF you keep obeying my teachings. (Continue in my Word) 32 You will KNOW the truth, and the truth will set (make) you free.

What Jesus is saying in this verse, was that if you continue walking with Him and stay in the Word of God and obey it, you will gain knowledge of the Truth and be set free!

This verse is for the people who knew Jesus and believed in Him for believers! Jesus was telling the church that if they continue following Him, listening to Him, and obeying what He told them, they would be set free from every sickness, disease, and lack that the devil would even try to put on them they would be delivered from every curse! (Galatians 3:13) If they stuck around and listened to Him, and gained the knowledge that He had for them, He would tell them how to walk in the light of the Word of God and receive His offer of salvation!

In order to walk in divine health and prosperity, you have to know the Truth- and the truth is, you have been set free from sicknesses, diseases, and poverty! Jesus redeemed you from every curse that sin ever brought (through Adam) the day He died on the cross. Once you get knowledge of this very important truth, you can receive everything that Jesus provided for you what belongs to you! When you gain knowledge of the Truth of Gods Word, the Truth will set you free from everything that the devil would ever try to touch you with! The Bible says in John 14:6 that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, so the better you come to know Jesus, the more Truth will be revealed to you and the more you can receive that freedom! Its all in what you know!

In Hosea 4:6, the Bible says that Gods people die because they lack knowledge of His Word how to use it! Gods Word is the most powerful force in the universe, and if you have knowledge of what all belongs to you, you have the privilege of applying your knowledge of Gods Word to every situation in your life! You need to get into the Word of God for yourself to get knowledge of just what all is yours!

Romans 10:17 says that FAITH COMES by hearing Gods Word. Before faith comes, when you had not heard the Word of God yet, you didnt have any faith, did you? Because you werent saved yet. 2 Thessalonians 3:2 says that not all people have faith God gave them His Word, but not everyone believes it and accepts it as the Truth. If these peoples hearts are open to Gods Word and they believe it, as they hear the Gospel message,

faith will come to them just like it did to you, and they will be able to receive the biggest blessing imaginable Jesus, as their Lord! Just think: when you got born again, your faith came, and you received the BIGGEST, miracle that you could have EVER had! Your faith came and you received the gift of salvation that Jesus bought for you with His life! When you are were born again, you have the faith to receive anything from God its mountain moving faith!

When you were born again, you received a brand new Spirit Gods! Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. (1 Corinthians 2:12) Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things are become new. (2 Corinthians 5:17) If you have Gods Spirit dwelling and living within you, just think about how much power you have within you! You can do all things through Christ now! When you became a child of God, you received a brand new inheritance that came along with your adoption. God became your Heavenly (Spiritual) Father, and the inheritance that He established for you became yours you finally received it! Now its your job to use your faith to believe God and His Word that you are walking in Gods blessings!

God tells you in His Word what all of His characteristics are (His fruits) - they automatically became your characteristics when the Holy Spirit came to live inside of you! (When you were born again) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, (patience) gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, (gentleness) and temperance: (self-control) against such there is no law. (Galatians 5:22, 23) When you became born again, you became the Temple of the Holy Spirit Gods House! Everything that God is, and everything that God has, is within you! For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel; which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth. (Colossians 1:5, 6)

For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding: that ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who HATH DELIVERED US from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son. (Colossians 1:9-13) Your old, sinful nature was done away with, and you received a brand new one you were born again with no strings attached!

You were delivered from the power of darkness! You have been delivered from sin, sicknesses and diseases! Jesus took care of everything for you both spiritually and naturally. He redeemed you from the curses to the blessings of God! You can read about all of the curses pronounced by the law for disobedience in Deuteronomy 28 and in Leviticus 26. You are set free of every one of them if you are walking upright before God! Jesus also bought the blessings of God for you, which you can also read about in these same chapters. The blessings belong to you, and the curses have been turned around to be blessings to you if you are being obedient to the Lord! You have the opportunity to be blessed on this earth, as well as blessed in the world to come heaven! Now thats God!

You have to realize just who you are in Christ, and what all belongs to you once you make Jesus the Lord of your life. You cant ask for something that you already have, or try to get something that you already have, right? That wouldnt make any sense at all! By reading your Bible, you can find out that you dont have to try to be saved after youve been born again. Believe you are saved, if you have believed in your heart that Jesus has been raised from the dead, repented (turned) from your sins, and confessed Jesus as your Lord. (Romans 10:9) You have to know that you are the righteousness of God in Christ, (2 Corinthians 5:21) so you cant try to get righteous by doing certain things or acting a certain way, or by praying for it. You are already righteous, because God says you are! You cant try to get healed by trying to be good or by praying and praying and praying for a healing. The truth is, you have been healed, and you are healed right now! By Jesus stripes you were healed! (1 Peter 2:24)

If you are a born again child of the Most High God, (El-Elyon) then you have everything! You have the God who is more than enough (El-Shaddai) living and dwelling within you! He will never leave you He leads you, (Hes in front of you) Hes behind you 100%, and Hes right beside you if you are walking with Him! . . . And, most important, He is inside of you! Thats how much your creator (Elohim) loves you He wants to be the center of your whole life!

Dont ever let the devil put discouragement on you if things arent going the way you think they should be going. Hes only trying to get you to give up because he knows that you are getting close to receiving the blessings that God has for you! Get in the Word of God today and gain the knowledge of His Words, then start using that mountain moving faith that you have within your heart! (Thats the God kind of faith) God blessed you!

Mark 11:15-17

And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves: And would not suffer that any man should carry any vessel through the temple. And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? But ye have made it a den of thieves.

Do you realize that Jesus bought you as His very own when He died on that cross? He bought you every part of you! Your spirit, soul, and body all belong to Jesus, and its up to you to really get a revelation about this and to make sure that every part of you is holy and blameless (sinless) on the day that you meet God! Our Pastor has taught us that you are a spirit (like God) and you are made in His image. You have a soul, (thoughts, will, feelings, and emotions) and you live in a body. And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Thessalonians 5:23)

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:9) When you receive salvation from God, you receive a brand new Spirit - (Gods) the old, sinful, and evil one that you were born with, which you inherited from Adam, is gone! After you have a new born-again spirit, you are a completely different person, and you cant just keep doing the same things that you used to do and not feel convicted about it any more. You wont even have a desire to do and say the bad things that you used to any more, and if you do sin, you feel so guilty and bad about it, that you just have to ask God to forgive you for it and you repent of it. (Turn from it) (1 John 1:9) Thats why people who are not reborn keep doing the things that they do. They stay in the same old sins and keep the same habits that theyve had for years without a care in the world! They dont feel guilty about sinning.

After you receive salvation, its just the beginning for you! It was the beginning of a brand new life Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things became new. (2 Corinthians 5:17) Your new spirit needs fed every day just to stay alive, by reading your Bible, just as your body needs fed with food. This is where your soul comes in. As you read Gods Word, you are renewing your mind (soul) day by day to reprogram your mind from the old and sinful ways of thinking, to Gods way of thinking. The more you read the Word of God, the more wisdom, knowledge, and understanding you will have of God and how to apply His Word to your life.

When you got born-again, God gave you your orders. You then had the opportunity to obey and carry out your orders, or to disobey them and suffer the consequences! If you chose to disobey them and stay the same way if you acted the same, had the same thoughts and feelings that you used to, and talked the same, then you continued in sin, and therefore, you werent really saved. To repent means to turn from your sins and to change the way that you think and act. If you joined the Army, and in boot camp, and didnt follow your orders, you would get in big trouble, wouldnt you? As a matter of fact, if you refused to listen, they would kick you out of the Army, right? Its the same way with Gods army. Salvation is free its a free gift from God to you, but when you receive that gift, along with it come some very important orders that you must carry out very carefully your assignment for your life to obey God and His Word! If you dont obey, theres a very big penalty to pay! Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. (Philippians 2:12)

Faith comes by hearing and hearing Gods Word. (Romans 10:17) It is very important that you are hearing the Truth of the Word of God being taught, and how to apply it to your every day life. It could mean life or death for you or someone that you love! It is also important that you hear yourself speaking, confessing, and reading, it, because faith comes by hearing! This will build your faith in God up so you can receive the things that belong to you as a believer in Christ. As you read the Word, you are renewing your mind. (Romans 12:2) You have to change your old ways of thinking to new positive ways! (Gods way)

Thats why its so important to read your Bible every day - to keep every part of your three-part being lined up with Gods Word! Can you imagine if you got born again, then never did anything to change your thoughts, your speech, or your behavior? Just imagine meeting God in that condition! Remember, sin cant be in the presence of God, and Jesus died to take your sins away He nailed them to the cross. If you still have them or are in them, something is very wrong. You might have asked Jesus to be your Savior (you wanted saved from going to Hell) but you never made Him your Lord! You hadnt actually served and obeyed Him or made Him your Lord and the Master of your life!

Whether you ever realized it or not, its also up to you to make sure that your body stays strong and healthy, both spiritually and physically. Or dont you know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body. (1 Corinthians 6:19, 20) You are the Temple of the Holy Spirit Gods house! Its up to you to keep your body under control and following the ways of your new, born again spirit instead of the old, sinful, evil things it used to do. Its your responsibility to get your body to line up with Gods Word, and as soon as you have that brand new Spirit built up in the Word, you will start thinking right. (The way God thinks) Your body will soon quit doing the things that it used to do and begin to follow along and line up with Gods Word also!

I heard Keith Moore do a very good teaching about your body being Gods Temple, and how its up to you to resist the devil and to keep him from even getting a foothold in your life: He said that you are the custodian of your body. You are to guard your body you are to resist the devil every time he comes around to try to bring any kind of a sickness, disease, or even a bad thought to you! Resist the devil and he will flee (run in terror) from you! (James 4:7) Keith said to pretend that your Pastor left you in charge of his church because he had to leave for a week. What if your Pastor came back to find the neighborhood cats, dogs, ducks, and frogs inside his church running around making messes everywhere and contaminating the place? What if the hobos off of the street were in there making fires all over the church? What would your Pastor do? He would want to talk to the person that he left in charge, wouldnt he? That would be you!

You cant just hide in the corner wishing that these people and animals would leave, right? You have to know that it is NOT Gods Will that they are there! You have to know that God didnt send them to you for some purpose or to teach you something, right? It is your responsibility to get these things out of your church you are in charge!

Its the same way with your body: when the devil brings you a sickness or a disease and he tempts you to take it, you do not have to receive it! You can and must resist it dont even let them in the door! You cant speak the sickness, and you cant act on it you have to act on Gods Words instead of what the devil is putting in your mind! If you already have a sickness or a disease, you have to put your foot down and demand it to leave your body! It has no right to stay in Gods Temple you are His house. (And youre His property!) Absolutely no one can trespass on Gods property not even the devil! Hosea 4:6 says that MY people perish (die) because they lack knowledge of the Word of God. (how to use your knowledge powerfully!)

Get into the Word of God today and see what all belongs to you what you have inherited from Jesus! Read Deuteronomy 28 and Leviticus 26 to see what the blessings for obedience are, and the curses for disobedience are. Every time you read any of those curses, its very exciting to know that Jesus redeemed (bought) you from every single one of them! (Galatians 3:13) You are redeemed from the curse of the law!

Put that devil in his place by using Gods Word! Put him under your feet and keep him there! The only soul he should ever see is the sole on the bottom on your foot! The devil hates Gods Word and he cant stand the powerful name of JESUS! Read it Speak it Believe it!!!!!! The living Word of God It brings life to any and every situation that you encounter!

Praise Him He is good all the time!

Hebrews 11:1

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Have you really been using your faith your supernatural (spiritual) power or not? Have you been battled in your mind; where the devil rules your mind in what you think about? Have you just been going ahead and thinking about all of the rotten things that he puts in your mind about yourself, your family, your friends, your church, and your job? Remember, as your soul (mind) prospers, you will!

You have been given the power of God, Himself, to cast down imaginations and thoughts that the devil tries to put in your mind. Have you been using that power and authority over Satan that Jesus gave you, or have you just been going along with him and letting him have control of your thoughts? If you are just thinking on whatever he puts there, you are in agreement with him. The Bible says that when two agree on something, it shall be done!

Do you actually want the things that the devil tells you to come to pass in your life? For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he! (Proverbs 23:7) It is very crucial that you use the power that Jesus gave you over the devil concerning your thoughts, because that is where every single thing that the devil does in your life begins with a thought! He cant do a thing to you unless he puts it in your mind first and he cant actually do it unless you speak it out and /or act on that thought. He only gives you a suggestion first to see what your reaction will be. Do you see how tricky the devil is? He tells you one single lie just to see if he can get a reaction out of you, then hes got you you gave him permission. He might try to put a thought of a pain in your body or a thought of a sickness or disease trying to come on your body. The devil might try to just put a bad thought about someone in your mind to get you to say something or act in a negative way toward that person. No matter what it is that he puts in your mind, it is definitely, without a doubt, a lie, and you have to cast those thoughts down by using the Word of God!

Its kind of like when someone gets allergy testing the Doctor pokes them with needles that have some kind of food, tree, plant, animal, or dust on them, just to see what kind of a reaction he can get out of your skin. As soon as your skin reacts in a negative way, you have an allergy! (which, by the way, you are redeemed from! Galatians 3:13)

You have to realize that your life needs to revolve around God and His Word. He has to be in the center of your life and your faith in God has to be your foundation, in which you stand and where you put your trust. God has to be in the center of your life in the heart of you! You arent supposed to form a god in your life to fit your needs and your style. You have to fashion your life after and around the only true God.

Your faith has to be now, in the present, built up in the Word, and strong. When you pray for something, you are praying now, right? Dont get upset and doubtful if you dont see any results the instant that you prayed, because no matter how much time goes by, time is still in the present, and your faith is still now, right? Now faith: if you think about it, you always have now faith, and thats the only kind you need to receive anything from God. You just have to keep standing in faith, believing that you have what you prayed for, because your faith is still now, and it still belongs to you! You have to be in faith now!

The reason people have such a hard time receiving healing from God, is that since God is a Spirit; He does everything supernaturally, and not naturally. Do you know anyone who said that Jesus came over and knocked on their door with His Doctors bag, and healed them? NO He doesnt work that way He does everything in the Spiritual realm, which is where you have to receive it first, to have it in the natural.

When Jesus took those stripes for your healing, it doesnt make any sense in the natural. How could a person receive healing from a man who got whipped? It doesnt make any sense in the natural, but spiritually, Jesus did heal your body completely the day that He was scourged. You were healed over two thousand years ago! Now that is good news! By Jesus stripes you were healed! (1 Peter 2:24)

Usually when people look for God to heal them, they are looking to their body first, and how they feel in their body if they have pain or discomfort in some way, instead of looking to Jesus and remembering what He really did for us when He took those stripes. You cant look to yourself and your body or your feelings what you feel like. You have to look to Jesus, and what He did for you. You have to see yourself as He sees you - as completely and totally healed and whole, lacking nothing at all! He paid for you with His own precious blood, and He is expecting to own the very best He doesnt want something broken down, falling apart, and not functioning properly! He paid top price for you with His own blood!

If the devil was trying to attack your body by trying to put a sickness on you, would you get your boxing gloves out? You cant fight spiritual matters with natural remedies. First of all, you have to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might (Ephesians 6:10) in order to resist the devil. You have to be read up and prayed up to have the confidence that you need in God to speak His Words (the Sword of the Spirit) against the enemy when he comes around and to believe that what you are saying is done.

People believe all kinds of different things, but remember: there is only one Truth that sets people free. There is only one path that leads to life (Heaven) and its narrow and only a few ever find it! If you arent truly seeking God, and reading His Word, then you believe whatever you are hearing and being taught!

Its very important that what you are learning lines up with Gods Word. Let them alone: they are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch. (Matthew 15:14) Whatever you are hearing is what your faith will be building up in, whether it is right or wrong. Faith in God only comes by hearing Gods Word. (Romans 10:17)

When you play catch with a child, its sometimes hard for them to catch the ball. After theyve been playing for a while and as they grow, they begin to catch it much easier. When you are young in the Lord, and you are just beginning to learn how to apply Gods Word to your life, it seems hard to catch on to at first. The more you grow and learn, spiritually, the easier it will become for you to make the Word work for you. As you get built up in Word and in prayer, your faith will grow and soon you will believe God enough to receive whatever it is that you need from Him!

You have to watch your words though. They have tremendous power when you speak them out they have the power to bring death to yourself or someone else, or bring life. They have the power to bring healing or sickness, poverty and lack or the abundance of God! Your words possess the power to bring blessings or the curses on yourself or on someone else! Death and life are in the power of the tongue. (Proverbs 18:21)

Remember: the devil is waiting to catch something that you say out of your mouth. Picture him with that catchers mitt, squatting down and just waiting on you! You see, he cant do a thing to you unless he gets the okay from you and you pass him the ball through your words, so watch what words you allow come out of your mouth! Life and death is in your mouth which one will you speak out?

So where is the evidence of your faith? Do you have it now? Now faith is your substance (assurance) that you have what you hope for!

He then having received the sop, went immediately out: and it was night. Therefore, when he was gone out, Jesus said, Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him.

Can you see how Jesus was speaking in faith? He saw and spoke about the outcome of what was going to happen to him and not what Satan was doing or about to do. He didnt even give the devil a second thought! Listen to what Jesus said: Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, (Satan) and hath nothing in me. (John 14:30) The devil didnt have a single thing over Jesus! No one could even lay a hand on Him unless He let them. Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against me; except it were given thee from above; therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin. (John 19:11) The only thing that Jesus was seeing was the glory that His death and resurrection was going to bring to Himself and to His Father! He knew that when He defeated the devil, Gods children could live with Him forever, and that would bring Him glory - that was the only thing that He was thinking about! Jesus wasnt thinking and worrying about what the enemy was doing and what He was about to go through because of Him. He wasnt even thinking about who the devil was using against Him He was thinking and speaking about the victory that He saw!

Did you ever hear anyone say the phrase that seeing is believing? It is very dangerous to think and believe that way! How are you seeing with your natural eyes, or with your spiritual eyes? You have to see through Gods eyes (the eyes of faith) and not through your natural eyes! But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came. The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe. (John 20:24, 25)

Thomas was an unbeliever he didnt really believe in Jesus yet until he saw Him for himself and touched Him, so he wasnt even saved! He was only seeing with His natural eyes and not with his spiritual eyes. If you cant see something to be true by faith in God and His

Word, then you have no faith and you better check yourself to see if you are truly right with God. Philippians 2:12 says to work out your own salvation with fear and trembling! (have the fear of the Lord) If you cant see by faith (the Truth) with your eyes shut, then you need to build your faith in God up by getting in the Word and listening to what it says! Faith comes by hearing and hearing Gods Word! (Romans 10:17) Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. (John 20:27-29)

And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book. But these are written that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing ye might have life through his name. (John 20:30,31) You never got to see the miracles that Jesus did in the Bible, but do you believe that He did them? Do you have faith to believe the Word is true or not? It matters very much what you believe because you cannot purposely receive anything from God unless you believe it first!

You cant go on what other people say you cant believe them! Youve got to remember that if they arent born again, they dont and cant see clearly because they are in the dark when it comes to the Truth! (Spiritual things) Would you want a blind person to cut your hair or your grass? Would you like a blind person to do surgery on you? How about drive you somewhere? Would you trust them behind the wheel of your car to take you somewhere? That would be absurd!

Its the same thing as trusting and believing in an unsaved person who is telling you things other than the Truth. (what the Bible says) 1 Corinthians 2:14 says the natural (unsaved) man cannot receive the things of the Spirit! If they arent born again with Gods new Spirit inside of them, they are blinded to the Truth, so when they tell you that you are sick, have a disease, poor, and so on, they are speaking contrary to the Word of God, so dont believe them believe and trust God because His Words are True!

Even people who are saved can speak things, (like sicknesses) right on themselves or on someone else if they dont know about the absolute Truth of the Word of God! Hosea 4:6 says that My people

perish (die) because they dont know the Truth. If they have never heard how Jesus took those stripes for them and healed them of every sickness and disease that ever would try to come on them, (1 Peter 2:24) then they will believe the doctor when he/she tells them that something is wrong with them. Then, they, ignorantly, begin to speak those same ungodly, negative words out too, without realizing the devastation they are causing!

Proverbs 18:21 says that death and life is in the power of the tongue, so its very important as to what you say about yourself and about others! Think before you speak! Ask yourself: do I really want what I am about to say to happen? If you dont, then do not say it! Mark 11:23 says that you can have what you say if you believe it in your heart, so be aware of your words and just how potent and powerful they are! Remember: life. . . . . . And death; are two very opposite things, and they will happen when you talk about the situations in your life or others lives! Make sure you are speaking what you want to see happen! Before you can receive anything from God by faith, you have to see it first as you already have it - not going to have it! You cant want to see something happen; you have to see it as though you already have it and speak the same way, believing! (thats faith) You have to reach into the future and grab hold of whatever you are believing God for, and dont let go of it, because its yours! You just have to hold on and keep believing and confessing what you have (according to Gods Word) and its as good as yours!

The devil cant actually put any kind of sickness or disease on you until he can get you to think like him! Until he can get you to believe him and what hes telling you, (lies) he cant touch you. (if you belong to God) He has to get you to change your ways of thinking and believing from what God told you in His Word, to the lies hes whispering into your ears!

The first thing he will do is to try his best to get you separated from God and His Word. He will try to keep you from going to church and hearing the Truth and try to keep you out of the Word by keeping you busy (being under Satans yoke) and pre-occupied with other things! He will try to make it look impossible to read and pray and to keep your relationship with God strong and built up!

Once he succeeds at knocking your faith level down, he sneaks in and starts speaking to you and telling you all kinds of lies. He will even use other people to tell you things to get you upset just so you will dwell on those things and believe them instead of God! Then he moves in for the kill! You give him permission to put whatever he wants to on you! The devils job is to steal, kill, and to destroy you, (John 10:10) and thats how he does it, but we arent ignorant of his devices! (plans) (2 Corinthians 2:11) - We know what hes up to and it isnt good, thats for sure!

Dont let anyone (including the devil) influence you to think the wrong way. He wants you to be under his influence instead of Gods, so dont give him any room in your life! When a house is declared unfit for use, it is condemned and no one can live there. When you, (Gods house) the Temple of the Holy Spirit, is unfit for Him to live in because of unrepentant sin, you are condemned too! He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth the truth; cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest; that they are wrought in God. (John 3:18-21)

Remember to WALK BY FAITH, NOT BY SIGHT! (2 Corinthians 5:7)

NOW faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1) - Faith is now! Faith believes that you have it NOW, not some time in the future what kind of faith would that be? Remember: tomorrow never comes its always today, and today is the day of salvation! Receive everything Jesus saved you from today poverty, sicknesses and diseases, and spiritual death!

Today's words came from a great woman of God. Joyce Meyer's words this month inspired me and I want to share them with you to give you that extra boost of extreme God for the day!

God has opportunities and assignments He wants to give and entrust to you, but in carrying out your destiny, you will undoubtedly encounter obstacles that will make you want to quit. God has taught me that one of the primary reasons people give up is because they try things, don't succeed, and then feel like a failure.

The truth is that you are never a failure...................unless you give up.

Most, if not all, successful people in history failed. But instead of letting discouragemnet get the best of them, they refused to give up. For Example......

Walt Disney was fired from a newspaper job because he didn't have any creative ideas. He failed in business and went bankrupt more than once.

Henry Ford went broke five times but he never gave in to the thought, There's no way this automobile will never work!

And before both political parties honored him as one of the greatest presidents of all time, Abraham Lincoln experienced challenges and failures that could have easily caused him to quit. He failed in business at age 22 before pursuing a career in politics a year later. He lost his first election at age 23 before failing again in business at 24. When he was 26, he lost the love of his life and suffered a nervous breakdown. He fathered four sons and only one of them lived to see adulthood. He lost elections at ages 29 and 34, won at 37, but then lost again at 39, 46,47, and 49! It would have been so easy for him to say, "There's no way I'll ever achieve my dream to serve my country as a leader,"......but he didn't. He never gave up. And because he didn't, at age 51, in spite of all rejection, he was elected the sixteenth President of the United States, and he guided the nation through one of it's most difficult hours.

We all face challenges and adversity, were tempted to say things like, "There's no way I can handle the pressure," "There's no way I can pay my bills," "There's no way to save my marriage", or "There's no way I'll recieve what God has for me."

But we should neversay, "There's no way!"

You simply can't focus on the impossible and allow it to overwhelm you. Instead of yielding to "no way," you take "His Way" and recognize that circumstances aren't in control......God is in control!

God has promised in his Word that we have His strength and His courage to press through. I love how the message paraphrases I Corinthians 1:9:

God will never give up on you!

I just want you to know that there is hope for you. It doesn't matter if your situation seems impossible, hopeless, or like there is just no way out, I want you to know that there is hope. Nothing is impossible for God - not even your situation.

God created everything with the power of His words. Since we are made in the image of God, we have that same power in the words we speak. God desires for us to havehis word inside of us so we can use it to come against the devil and his schemes. Everything bad or negative comes from the devil, but God gave us his written word (the sword of the spirit) to come against him.

The Bible says that the devil'sjob is to destroy us and kill us. - That is his goal and plan for our life. On the other hand, God's plan is that we may have life in all it's fullness. He wants us happy, healthy, and he even wants to bless us with abundance (more than enough) and we can have all that God has for us if we learn to speakGod's word instead of speaking the devil's words.

There are so many promises in the Bible and we know that God keeps his promise. His word is the only thing in this world that does not change. Everything else on this earth, including you, is subject to change. If you need a change in your life or if you're tired of being down and out, all you need to do is learn God's word and put it into practice. Remember: Jesus is the Living Word, and when he lives inside of us, God's word is alive within us and there is nothing we can't overcome!

I would like to invite you to join us at the Alliance Believers Church this Sunday at 9:30 or 10:15 for services so you can learn with us how to defeat an already defeated foe (the devil) and how to use the authority over him that we've already been given. Salvation, prosperity and divine health is ours. Jesus already bought these things for us. - All we have to do is learn how to receive them.

The Bible says that Jesus is The Way, The Truth, and The Life, and that THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE! Why don't you let Jesus (The Truth) set you free today? Come on in and learn with us how to live in victory today!
